Workshop What is Visual Merchandising
In this module participants are introduced in the basic principles of Visual Merchandising. Besides a theoretical program there will be lots of attention for a practical approach on the store floor.
Module 02
Inspiration trip Search for beauty
Together in a bus, one-day trip, visiting stores, new trends, inspiration and discussions. With good examples plans for own store are made here and with a mutual focus a plan of approach is born.
Module 03
Approach perishable Visual Merchandising
After observation and analysis of the current situation we make plans for a new approach towards commercial basics and commercial extra’s. Tasting, smelling, experience and customer contact are key subjects.
Module 04
Approach non-perishable Visual Merchandising
After analyzing and making an improvement plan we will use the “ten golden rules for Visual Merchandising” to build seductive and attractive presentations and show the customer the richness of the assortment.
Module 05
Overall performance storewide
After analyzing the current situation we will make a customized improvement plan in order to make the store Visual Merchandising worthy. Visual Merchandising stands outside and leaves a trail until fun, experience and surprise.
Module 06
Commercial Powerful Store
In this module the store team starts with a commercial meeting. The three focus points here are:
- Structure
- Content
- Execution
The goal that can be reached with a weekly structured commercial meeting is that every customer is going to spend one euro extra.
Module 07
Plan of attack Competitors
In case of strong competition, new players, price fighters, a commercial plan of attack is set where the competitor gets confronted with a set of activities/promotions where we always rely on our commercial strength and perfect Visual Merchandising.
Module 08
Visual Merchandising For Suppliers and External Partners.
Together with the supplier or manufacturer using my store background and from a Visual Merchandising angle we judge whether displays, themes, loyalty programs, demo’s and introductions are properly filled and well thought-out from a Visual Merchandise perspective.
